Lørdag 2.juni hadde våre russiske naboer i Barentsburg tatt turen til Longyearbyen for å underholde byen med sang, musikk og dans. Det er tradisjon at de kommer til Longyearbyen en gang i året, og årets forestilling ble fremført i Kultuhuset. Tradisjonelle kostymer var også med. Dessverre fikk jeg ikke med meg hele konserten, så bildene med kostymer/ kjoler er fra fjorårets opptreden.

Saturday (2nd of june) our russian neighbors from Barentsburg came to Longyearbyen to "entertain us" with traditional song, music and dancing. It is a tradition that they are comming to Longyearbyen once a year, and this year the show was in our new Culture house. Unfornately I wasn't able to see the whole consert, so the pictures with the traditional costumes were taken last year when they were in Longyearbyen.
